My journey to Chinese Medicine and the Healing Arts began through personal experience. Several years ago I went to an acupuncturist for musculoskeletal issues and experienced dramatic improvement after just a few sessions. My muscles relaxed, the inflammation decreased and my pain disappeared. I couldn’t believe how relaxed and comfortable I felt in my body again! After experiencing profound benefits of acupuncture firsthand, I became enchanted with the medicine and fascinated by its possibilities.

I attended the Graduate School of Integrative Medicine (formerly AOMA) in Austin, Texas; and went on to study further at the TCM Hospital of Chengdu in Sichuan, China, focusing primarily on herbal medicine, acupuncture and Tuina.

The intention for my practice is to help people heal and to bring wellness and balance to their lives through integration of this ancient knowledge with compassionate care. I combine several modalities including Medical qi gong, Reiki, mantra, tuina, acupuncture and Chinese herbs to create a personalized experience focused on addressing the unique health needs of each patient. I believe in the importance of building relationships with clients, establishing a comfortable level of trust and giving them the time and patience necessary to facilitate healing. I excel at connecting with diverse populations, especially needle-sensitive patients. I understand that working up the nerve to come in for the first time can be challenging, and I will walk you through each session at your own pace to ensure your comfort and well-being.

I treat a variety of conditions and issues, but I especially enjoy treating back pain, headaches and migraines, problems related to cancer treatment, women’s issues (difficult cycles, menopause) and men’s issues (prostate problems, ED). Born and raised in Greenville, I’m excited to be joining the Carolina Health Innovations team and to be working to improve people’s health and well-being in my home town. When I’m not treating patients, I enjoy playing cello, singing and playing Kirtan, hiking, practicing yoga and traveling.
